Poetry in motion: The mobile poetic inquiry of a CALD educator

Abstract

This essay is a poetic inquiry – mapping a globally mobile, culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) educator “I”’s moving and evolving identity and practice. Using prose poetry as inquiry, I write a day in my life as a University lecturer and college fellow and resident tutor, charting my movement across personal and professional spaces. As I move, I connect with others across spaces. I am not a bounded, still entity, but one who is moving across cultures: trans-cultures, trans-entities, trans-boundaries, taking in a range of human and more-than-human agents who make up my educational ecologies.
